Healing UTI’s Naturally

Unfortunately, so many women today suffer from recurring UTI’s.  And as we age, (surprise, surprise) this phenomenon grows worse.

Recently someone asked me about using vaginal estrogen to alleviate this condition, and while I’m sure using estrogen can help to alleviate a UTI there are many known side effects linked to estrogen use.  These negative side effects from estrogen can happen whether your estrogen comes in the form of a pill, a patch, a gel or a cream.  No matter how you wrap it, estrogen use is problematic.

As always, if you can help your body to heal naturally, you are doing yourself a favor.  Both because you are not using anything toxic, and in healing the UTI you are also improving your overall health.

The first rule to treating the UTI naturally, is consistency.  The infection is deep and requires you to treat it even when you are asymptomatic. With long term regular treatment, you will be preventing future flare ups.

Here are a few remedies that have been proven to be successful.

Cranberry - Vitamin C - Probiotic Treatment Plan

For the first three months, take 3x daily

  • Cranberry + Probiotic pill

  • 750 mg vitamin C

After the first three months, you should be able to lower the dosage to once a day but you should continue to take these products indefinitely.  They will not harm you and will only benefit you.

Essential Oil Blend

Essential oils are an excellent way to treat any type of infection, UTI’s included.

The best oils to treat a UTI include:

  • Clove

  • Oregano

  • Cinnamon

  • Lavender

  • Marjoram

  • Eucalyptus

  • Coriander

  • Cumin

To use the essential oils, dilute 5 drops in almond oil and massage into your lower abdomen and/or your upper inner thigh area.

Many of the above listed essential oils are already in the Hooha Rejuvenating Serum.

This means that the Hooha Serum not only helps to prevent vaginal atrophy, it also helps to kill and destroy bacterial infections, specifically here, the E. coli which is what is causing the UTI.

While in the future I will be coming out with a product specifically for UTI’s for now, when ordering, you can ask me to modify your product to make it target and prevent the UTI.

Like the cranberry treatment method, the Hooha Serum should be used daily, prophylactically, and can also be used before having sex, as a preventative.  And since the Hooha also boosts libido and increases orgasm strength, Hey! that's a Win Win! there.

Keep the Area Clean.

Bacteria thrives in moist, damp conditions.  Wear cotton underwear during the day, and sleep in the buff.  Make sure to pee after sex, and rinse yourself off post coitus.

Eliminate or reduce mucus forming foods such as dairy, gluten, and sugar, which allow harmful bacteria to proliferate.

And of course reduce or eliminate skincare products which contain phthalates.
